Surface Condition

Mild Steel Square Bar is supplied with a normal mill finish. Mill scale, light oxidation, handling marks and minor cosmetic variation are normal characteristics of untreated mild steel.

Corrosion Protection

Untreated mild steel can rust when exposed to moisture. For outdoor or decorative use, consider a suitable primer, paint system, galvanising, Red Oxide Primer, Powder Coating or another available finish.
