Fabrication and Safety
Use tooling, speeds and lubricants suitable for aluminium. Control sharp swarf and prevent the accumulation of fine aluminium dust, particularly during grinding or sanding.
Welding procedure, filler selection and preparation depend on the supplied alloy, temper and intended service.

Are the cut ends deburred?
No. This product is supplied as-cut and is not deburred. Cut ends and edges may be sharp and may contain burrs or loose swarf. Handle with care and use suitable protective equipment.
Is the material suitable for my project?
The customer is responsible for confirming material grade, dimensions, loading, environment, fabrication method and regulatory requirements. Structural or safety-critical selection should be checked by a suitably qualified person.
