Tollerances

Our current saws and guillotines cut to a tolerance of -0 +3mm, the cut edges are not deburred or finished, items where there is a custom cut option are supplied on our normal lead times, other lead times will be advised on your custom order link. Please ensure that you check your custom cut dimensions or custom order link before making payment as all custom cut orders are non-refundable.

All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods.

 

Accuracy of Product Information

All product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturer’s, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources. The intention of KI Metals is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, KI Metals cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.

 

Payment and Price

The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier’s prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices on our website are exclusive of VAT and of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order.

 

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges).

 

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Switch. On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number – the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. You may also pay by cheque or postal order although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared.

 

Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason, we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods. Delivery Charges on our website are exclusive of delivery charges which will be added to the price of the products at our checkout.

 

Delivery Times

Delivery of products within UK (stock items) will normally be made within 2-4 working days from clearance of payment. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If we or our suppliers are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 28 days for dispatch of the goods. For delays of more than 28 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.

 

Risk

As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door, you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

For your security, all deliveries must be signed for or they will not be left. Please remember to inspect the condition and quantity of your package/goods before signing for them. Claims for missing or damaged products will be rejected if they have been signed for “Received in GOOD CONDITION”. In the event that goods are returned to us because they were not signed for, we will not be liable for any loss sustained by you and we will contact you to arrange payment by you of a further carriage charge before we are obliged to attempt to redeliver the items to you.

 

Time Limitation for Notification of Claims

Damage in transit: If goods arrive in a damaged condition, you must make a note on the carrier’s delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us by email to via our contact us page within 7 days from delivery.

Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier’s delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us by email via our contact us page within 7 days from delivery.

In-Correct Goods: It is your responsibility to notify us of any in-correct goods within 7 days from delivery. by email via our contact us page.

 

Non-Deliveries

We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 7 days from the expected delivery date by email via our contact us page If goods returned under this clause are found to be perfect and in full working order, these will be returned to you and an administration fee of 15% of the price of the goods along with the cost of carriage will be charged to your credit card account.

 

Faulty Goods

Products that are deemed faulty can be returned for replacement or credit. Faulty goods can be returned up to 7 working days following receipt of order, please inform us by email via our contact us page stating ‘faulty goods’ as the subject and including all order details within the correspondence.
This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have.

Express Delivery Option Terms & Conditions

1. The “Express Delivery Option” is a service provided by K I Metals , hereinafter referred to as “the Company,” to expedite the delivery of products to customers who choose this option.

2. The Company utilizes the services of a third-party courier company for executing the express delivery service. It is important to note that the Company acts as an intermediary between the customer and the courier service.

3. While the Company makes every reasonable effort to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products through the express delivery option, it is important to acknowledge that the Company does not have direct control over the courier’s operations, including but not limited to, transit times, routing, and delivery schedules.

4. The Company cannot accept responsibility for any losses, damages, or inconveniences incurred due to delays caused by the third-party courier service. The customer acknowledges and agrees that the Company shall not be liable for any loss, whether direct or indirect, arising from delays in delivery resulting from factors beyond the Company’s control.

5. The express delivery option provided by the Company is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the third-party courier service. The Company cannot be held responsible for any deviations from the anticipated delivery timeframe due to unforeseen circumstances, transportation issues, weather conditions, or other factors affecting the courier’s performance.

6. In cases where the third-party courier service experiences delays resulting in the failure to meet the anticipated delivery schedule, the customer may be eligible for a refund of the additional fees paid for the express delivery option. The refund amount will be limited to the extra charges paid for the express delivery service and shall not include compensation for any indirect or consequential losses.

7. The customer acknowledges that any claims for refunds related to the express delivery option must be submitted to the Company within a reasonable timeframe, as specified by the Company’s refund policy.

8. The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the express delivery option at its sole discretion. In the event of such modifications, suspensions, or terminations, the Company shall provide notice to customers through appropriate channels.

9. By selecting the express delivery option, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this document. The customer acknowledges that the Company’s liability is limited to the express delivery fee and shall not extend to any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from delays in delivery.
